Tolaga Bay Lifestyle Build
At SHEDS4U, we’re all about bringing your ideas to life, and our recent build in Tolaga Bay on the East Coast is a great example of how we work with our clients to make their vision a reality.
What started as a rough sketch is now a fully finished home, custom-built for modern Kiwi living, complete with a workshop to socialise in and gym space.
The client came to us with a unique brief: they wanted a comfortable place to live that doubled as a space to train, tinker and hang out. We worked hand-in-hand with them to shape a shed that ticked every box:
- Bold black exterior with clean lines and feature glazing
- Large roller doors and sliders for great light and flow
- Plenty of room for gym gear, workshop tools and socialising
- Joinery and cedar lining to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere
The build
The SHEDS4U construction team kicked things off with a tidy concrete pour and setting the poles in place.
Despite some wet weather and classic coastal conditions, the crew cracked into it with their customary speed and precision and, as the frame went up and the cladding took shape, it became clear to all of us that this was going to be a stand-out building.
The Result
The finished building really is something special. The owners have the versatile space to live, train, host mates or simply kick back in that they envisaged from their first sketch of the idea.
It’s a proper reflection of their lifestyle – and the kind of shed we’re proud to put our name to.
